Pause. Notice where your body is holding on. Loosen the jaw, drop the shoulders, unclench the hands — just a little. Soften your grip. Let kindness in.
Inhale gently. On the exhale, send a quiet wish of good to yourself. Next breath, send that same wish to someone nearby. Simple. Warm. Enough.
Before the day runs away, choose one small kindness — a message, a held door, a soft word. Do Only Good Everyday starts with one good thing.
Most important: Meditation is like the gym for your mind
When people start working out, the first week or two can feel like nothing is changing. The mirror looks the same, and many people stop.
The ones who keep going, gently, day after day, begin to feel stronger after two or three months. Then the people around them start to notice too.
Meditation works the same way.
In the first few days, it can feel like you're just sitting there. That's normal, and it's exactly when most people give up.
The change doesn't come from one perfect meditation. It comes from showing up, again and again.
So please be patient with yourself. Give it 30 days. Meditate every day, even for a few minutes, and quietly notice how you feel.
Keep going for three months, and don't be surprised if someone tells you your energy feels different. Calmer, kinder, lighter.
Here at DogeDharma, we've meditated almost every day for more than five years, for a minimum of 30 minutes a day, and often up to 60 minutes or longer.
There were a few days we missed, when we were sick or life just didn't leave time. Even then, we made time whenever we could, and we always came back the next day.
That's the secret. It isn't about being perfect.
Consistency is the key, and it simply means coming back every day.
Meditation gave us so much, and DogeDharma exists to share that gift with you, always for free.
Wherever you are on your path, new or experienced, you're welcome here.
Take one quiet breath, and begin today. Your first stamp is waiting.
Do Only Good Everyday 🦮 💛 🙏🏾
Nothing here yet. Try another length.
For the days you have time to stay. Sixty minutes, mostly silence.
Coming soon. When it is ready, it will wait for you here.
Like the gym, a little each day. Give it 30 days.
Begin small. Settle in. Go deeper when it feels right.
When you're ready, try 5 minutes. Soften and Rest is a gentle next step.
When you're ready, try 10 minutes. More silence, same softness. Nothing Is Missing is a kind place to start.
Settle in, and let the body arrive before the mind does.
Ten quiet minutes to settle down, make some room, and rest in the quiet.
Short meditations still count. Some days, two minutes is the right meditation.
Pick a type, or browse by how you feel.

A breath or two. A gentle place to start.
Nothing here for this theme yet.
For a meeting or an interview. Feet on the floor, shoulders down, eyes open, then walk in.
Two minutes off the keys. Let the eyes rest far away, then come back to the work.
A short meditation, about two minutes. Slow breath, soft shoulders, still water.
For right after a hard moment. Name it, remember it comes to everyone, and offer yourself one gentle word.
Before a new idea, or before you start coding. Hands in your lap, one clear breath, then the first line.
One breath while it loads. Eyes open, hands loose, and let the breath fill and empty like the bar.
Never meditated? Start here. A few gentle minutes: there's nothing to get right, wandering is normal, and coming back is the practice.
A short meditation before a big decision on a screen. Hand off the mouse, eyes off the screen, two slow breaths. It won't tell you what to choose.
A short meditation between matches. Hands empty, eyes open, one breath in the gap. *(short)*
A short meditation before you open the screen. The screen is a closed door, and you are on this side. Nothing to decide. *(short)*
A few minutes between meetings or tasks. Two slow breaths, wipe the board clean, and meet the next thing fresh.
One simple thing to hold: count ten slow breaths. Lose count? Start again at one. Starting again is the practice.
For the start of the day.
Nothing here for this theme yet.
Two minutes. A few words, then a small quiet. Nothing to do with it but let it be.
A quick, warm wish for one dear person, then one tiny act to let them know. A short 'thinking of you' text is plenty.
A short meditation after a long session. Come back through touch: palms, feet, the chair that held you. *(short)*
A short meditation after you close the screen. The numbers live in the head; the feet have none. Let them stay behind. *(short)*
Five minutes before a session. Eyes open, hands off the controller, arrive before you play.
A gentle next step after Your First Meditation. Breath, then body, a short quiet, and coming back. No counting, nothing to get right.
Five minutes, mostly silence. A short settling, one long quiet, and a soft voice to bring you back.
Five minutes of goodwill for the people you pass or serve today. Each one has a whole life, as full as yours.
For when the day gets busy.
Nothing here for this theme yet.
A quiet reset, right in the middle of the day.
A calm look before you press the button. Slow down for one breath, then ship with care.
For coders and builders. One calm breath before a testnet or mainnet push. Calm hands, check once, then let it go.
For CI, long compiles and block confirmations. Use the wait for a few easy breaths instead of refreshing. Eyes open is fine.
A short meditation after a loss or a hot moment. Open hands. No replay. The heat leaves in its own time. *(short)*
A short meditation after a hard session, good or bad. The body leans forward; let it lean back. Nothing to chase. *(short)*
For a hard conversation or a big room. Feel the chair, slow the breath, then speak.
For after a long bug hunt. Let go of the jaw, the shoulders and the eyes, and be kind to whoever wrote the bug. Maybe you.
For the middle of a sprint. Come back to clear instead of wired, drink some water, and see your team as people.
Five minutes of just listening. Sounds come and go, and you let them.
Ten quiet minutes before you open the screen. Body first. Nothing to decide.
Ten quiet minutes between matches. Hands down, eyes open, one steady breath before the next one.
Ten quiet minutes before a choice you can't take back today. Look through each door calmly, then choose with care.
Ten quiet minutes in the middle of an ordinary day. Stop, notice what's here, and start the afternoon fresh.
Ten quiet minutes for when the work won't move. Stop pushing, look with loose hands, and go easy on the builder.
Ten quiet minutes after a big match or a tournament. A win and a loss both pass through. Come back to center either way.
Ten quiet minutes of kindness toward someone you find hard. No fixing them, no excusing them. Just a wish.
A gentle first longer meditation. Breath, body, sounds and a short kind wish, then a long quiet. The voice comes back softly at the end.
Ten quiet minutes for when the work you love feels heavy. Rest without quitting, and remember your worth isn't your output.
Ten quiet minutes on watching without being swept away. Sit on the bank while things move, with a long quiet in the middle.
Twenty minutes with the breath. Settle in, rest your attention on breathing, and come back each time you wander.
Twenty minutes of open awareness. Let sounds, sensations and thoughts come and go while you meditate and notice.
About twenty minutes before a block of focused work. Gather your attention, sit in a long quiet, and set one clear, kind intention.
Half an hour, mostly silence. Settle in, and let the quiet hold you.
An hour for experienced meditators. Settle on the breath, open out when you're ready, with a soft bell and one short line every fifteen minutes.
For kindness, to yourself and others.
Nothing here for this theme yet.
For when the answer was no. A pitch that passed, a door that closed. Go easy on yourself.
Five minutes with the person at the other end of what you build. Make it kind for them.
Five minutes for after a good day. Enjoy it, stay humble and steady, and pass some of the good along.
Five minutes on being kind in voice chat. Let a sharp comment pass, and be the voice that lifts someone up.
Ten minutes with one household task, done slowly and with care. Eyes open, standing or sitting.
Ten quiet minutes after a hard session, good or bad. Nothing to chase, nothing to prove. Back to the middle.
Ten quiet minutes after a loss or a hot moment. No replay. Let the heat go on its own.
Twenty minutes of kind wishes, one person at a time, with a warm quiet after each: you, someone dear, someone you barely know, someone difficult, and everyone.
Thirty minutes of kindness. Kind wishes for you, someone dear, someone neutral, someone difficult and all beings, then a long, warm quiet.
For the end of the day.
Nothing here for this theme yet.
For after a launch, or after a bug. Step back and let it land before the next thing.
Five minutes of rest for busy hands and screen-tired eyes. Gentle finger and eye movements, eyes open the whole time.
Five minutes before you open the screen or after you close it. Never during a live decision.
Five minutes for after a hard day at the screen. No replay, no verdict. Let the day be what it was, and go easy on yourself.
Ten quiet minutes for a heavy or grieving day. It won't try to cheer you up. It just keeps you company.
Ten quiet minutes after a long session. Come back to the room, and to the body that stayed here.
Ten quiet minutes at the end of a building day. Set the work down where it is. No post-mortem.
Ten quiet minutes after you walk in the door. Let the outside day settle, and arrive before the evening begins.
Ten quiet minutes for pets, strays and every creature. Wish them safe, warm and loved, with Kobe, DogeDharma's best buddy.
Ten quiet minutes for something you're waiting on. Let the outcome stay open, and rest without knowing.
Ten minutes, mostly silence. A few words to settle in, a long quiet, a few words to come back.
Ten quiet minutes after you close the screen. The day was not its numbers. Leave them where they are.
Ten quiet minutes after back-to-back meetings. Let the voices fade, and come back to your own pace.
Fifteen minutes for a lunch break or the end of the workday. Set the work down, then three quiets, with a soft voice back after each.
A warm first long meditation. Breath, body, sounds and a kind wish, with a soft check-in every few minutes, so you're never alone in the quiet for long.
Every meditation is free, and always open.
