Welcome to DogeDharma.

This is When Success Feels Empty. Five minutes for the heart, when things look good from the outside.

Please find a position that feels comfortable for you.

You can sit on a chair, or on a cushion. Lying down is lovely too.

If you're sitting, you may let your feet rest gently on the floor.

Let your hands rest softly, in your lap or by your sides, wherever they feel easy.

You might close your eyes, or simply let your gaze rest low.

Gently breathe in.

And breathe out, a little slower, a little longer.

Once more. Breathe in.

And a long, easy breath out.

Notice what's here. Maybe tiredness. Maybe a quiet emptiness where you hoped joy would be.

Reaching a goal doesn't always fill the heart. That's not a failure. It's a signal.

Place a hand on your chest, if you like.

Ask gently: what does my heart want today?

Maybe rest. Maybe closeness. Maybe meaning.

Say to yourself, quietly:

My worth is more than what I achieve.

A short quiet now. I'll come back softly.

I'm here again. One more full breath.

One small kind thing: reach out to someone you care about, just to say hello.

When you're ready, open your eyes, if they were closed.
